Women Techmakers Vienna

12.03.2016 Microsoft Austria, Am Euro Platz 3, 1120 Vienna

Women Techmakers Vienna is part of an international event series initiated by Google with the goal to make women in tech more visible.

Our target group is people working or interested in the STEM fields (Science, technology, Engineering, Mathematics), both women and men.

We also offer 2x2h workshops for kids (age 10 and older) starting at 10:45 and 13:45. Kids need no previous knowledge of computer programming, but should know how to use a computer mouse and should possess the ability to read simple words in english language. Knowledge of how to operate computer paint programs is helpful. Children can participate at both workshops or choose one which suits their time better.

In addition there will be a 1h15min workshop for helping to overcome the Impostor Syndrome, open for men and women alike. If you experienced feeling like you are not qualified for the work you are doing and may be revealed as a fraud at any moment, then this workshop is for you.

Attendance at Women Techmakers Vienna is free and participants will be provided with lunch and beverages throughout the day, but our capacity is limited and we expect seats to fill up quickly!
