Lecturer Creative Computing f/m/d (40 h)


This position is vacant in the Department of Media and Digital Technologies.

What you will be working on

  • You independently design and teach courses in the degree program Creative Computing and other degree programs in the department Media and Digital Technologies
  • You will supervise Bachelor's and Master's theses
  • You support the organisation and further development of teaching in the department
  • You propose and carry out R&D projects
  • You are establishing and maintaining contacts with external (industry and academia) and internal partners

What we expect from you

  • Master degree in a subject relevant to the position is a must, Doctorate in a subject relevant to the position or equivalent qualification is an advantage, Experience in academic or industrial research is an advantage
  • Experience in development for Web and/or Mobile and/or AR/VR
  • Comfortable with at least one of the following technologies: Full stack Web Technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), C#, Unity, Kotlin, Swift
  • Experience in User Experience Design and/or Agile methods and/or Human-centered AI and/or Information Visualisation and/or Game Design and/or Game Engineering is an advantage
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills (priority will be given to English speaking natives), German skills are not required but an advantage
  • Ability to work in a team, flexibility, communicative and didactic competence
