On the first day of the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) 2023 will be the award ceremony of the European Sustainable Energy Awards. The Awards Ceremony will bring together European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson, members of the high-level jury and the finalists of the three categories to announce the winners in Innovation, Local Energy Action, Woman in Energy. In addition, a Young Energy Champion will be named in recognition of their achievements.
The EUSEW Woman in Energy Award recognises women who lead outstanding activities that help to advance the clean energy transition in Europe. Particular attention is placed on efforts to drive the gender mainstreaming agenda and support equality and equal opportunities in the energy sector.
