Let’s celebrate International Women’s Day by changing IT!

Codecool is bringing you 9 speakers from 3 European countries on 1 shared mission: to shine light on the value and importance of women in the tech world.

Why? Because girls can code, and tech needs them more than ever today.

Many women rule out a career in IT by default - often because they don't trust themselves enough. While in reality: female applicants often do even better in aptitude tests, bring a wider range of relevant skills, and are better suited for a successful IT career than many male competitors.

Tech needs women: digital product launches without women developers involved often fail, because the solutions created leave the needs of half the world’s population out of consideration.

Let’s spend an evening together imagining a more diverse digital world - and let’s not stop at imagination. Our speakers are strong women working at tech companies and in tech positions, and smart men knowing that women should play a key role in IT. We’re bringing personal success stories, hard data and clear arguments supporting the fact that an inclusive IT is a better IT.
